Olympic Gold Medalist visits HCA
David Neville is an Olympic Gold Medalist who currently works as the Track/Field Coach at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, Mr. Neville won a bronze medal in the men’s 400 m with a time of 44.80 seconds. His team in the 4x400m relay finished first with an Olympic record time of 2:55.39.
Mr. Neville spoke at Heartland Christian Academy’s all school chapel, encouraging the entire student body on the topic of Fortitude. He then spent time visiting several elementary classrooms and also shared more specifically with coaches and members of the track team.
